Led by: Sandy Conrad & Wanda HyltonPhilippians 4:6 encourages the believer to "be anxious for nothing." As Lucado states, the Apostle Paul seems to leave little leeway here. "Be anxious for nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero." Research indicates that anxiety-related issues are the number one mental health problem among women and are second only to alcohol and drug abuse among men. "The news about our anxiety is enough to make us anxious." says Lucado. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
