If you’re new to Country & Town, you may be asking…
What time is church on Sunday?
At C & T we currently have two opportunities for worship every Sunday morning. Select a time listed below for a further description about that service.
Our traditional service embraces the rich heritage of our faith with organ, grand piano, and our choir while still incorporating aspects of our modern culture through multimedia, drama and other artistic expressions. We enjoy the hymns of the past and are encouraged by anthems and modern choral classics.
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Traditional Service in the Worship Center (Organ, Grand Piano, Choir)
Our contemporary service utilizes many different components of worship where we combine a broad spectrum of music, art, drama, multimedia, and whatever else our creative worship team comes up with to help create an environment that draws people into the presence of God.
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Contemporary Service in the Worship Center (Praise Team and Band)
The preacher and the biblical message are the same in each of the services. The main difference will be in the “musical expression” that characterizes each service.
What should I wear?
It’s really up to you; it’s not a big deal to us. A few will be really dressed up, a few will be really dressed down, but most will be casual and comfortable, somewhere in between.
What will the worship service be like?
Regardless of which service you attend, you will enjoy worshiping God with great music, an engaging message from the Bible that applies to daily life, and an environment of acceptance, energy and joy.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes! There is outstanding programming for preschoolers (6 weeks through pre-K) during all worship services. We also offer high-energy, age-group appropriate programming for your elementary, middle or high school student – be sure to check out the ministry pages for activities you will not want them to miss!
The main parking lot entrance to the campus is on Gettysburg Pike just a hundred yards from the traffic light at South Market St. (Route 114) and one block west of the U.S. Highway 15 exit onto PA Route 114. There is also an entrance from South Market St. that leads all the way around to the main entrance.
There is parking designated as Guest Parking (see our campus map). There are also designated Handicapped Parking locations near the primary Worship Center entrance. However please park where you would be most comfortable parking.
The primary entrance for the Worship Center is through the glass doors under the drive thru canopy. This area is for drop off and pick up needs.
Greeters are present to help you at the doors and direct you and your family to the Concourse Welcome Center. Greeters will assist you to the Worship Center, age-group ministry areas, or other areas of the building.
Information desks are conveniently located upstairs in the Children’s Ministry Wing and downstairs in the Youth Ministry Wing. At the Concourse Welcome Center Desk Greeters can answer questions, provide information, or help you find a Bible study class for your whole family.
We recommend that you allow them to participate in the age group programming that suits them best. Allow your infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages 6 weeks – pre-K) to be cared for in one of our warm, nurturing Nursery/Preschool Ministry classrooms. Or, if you have a child in elementary school (K – 6th grade) they won’t want to miss what’s going on in our Children’s Ministry.
One of our welcome team greeters or ushers in the worship center will be pleased to guide you to the location of your child’s age group ministry. More information is available at the information desks in the ministry gathering areas.
Refreshments are served before 9:00 am and from 10 to 10:30 in the Fellowship Hall during colder months of Fall and Winter and on the Fountain Patio during the Spring and Summer.
You will notice a Welcome Center with Greeters to assist you if you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general requests. There are also hearing assisted seating and large print Bibles and hymnals available also.
Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go any Greeter or Usher to request assistance. As a first-time visitor to C&T, you are our guest. We don’t expect you to contribute in the offering. Our members and regular attenders give joyfully and generously to support the work of the Lord here. If you chose to contribute we will be blessed and you will too! But that is up to you. As our guest, just complete and turn in your Connection Card at the Welcome Center and receive a special gift just for you.
We have a time for everyone to greet the people around them. As a guest, we do not put our guests “on the spot” or call you to the front. We do ask that you complete and turn in a Connection Card to help us know of your visit and know what kind of information that you would like to receive from us. Place the card in the offering plate or give it to one of the Greeters at the Concourse Welcome Center. Did we mention that you will get a gift if you do?
You are invited to meet the Senior Pastor either at the front of the Worship Center or near the Welcome Center following each of the services. We look forward to answering any questions you may have.
